Template text for the operator of this site: have it reviewed by your institution's counsel before going public.

Eligibility. You may register only with a university email address you control, and you may hold one account.
Your submissions. You may submit only work that you are entitled to distribute, and only if you are an author or have all authors' permission. You keep your copyright. By submitting you grant the license you select, and a non-exclusive right for 1xiv to host and distribute the paper and its metadata.
Yearly limit. You may submit 1 new paper per calendar year. Withdrawing a paper does not restore the allowance. Attempts to circumvent the limit are a violation of these terms.
Comments. You are responsible for what you post. Comments must be lawful, civil and relevant. You grant 1xiv the right to display them with your name and institution. You may edit or delete your comments.
Moderation. We may remove content or deactivate accounts that violate these terms. Decisions are logged and may be appealed by email.
No warranty. Papers are posted by their authors and are not peer reviewed or endorsed by 1xiv. The service is provided as is.
Changes. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
